§ 10-21. Methods of closing or restricting use.

When, pursuant to section 10-20, a county street or highway is closed or the use is restricted, the director of public works may designate the restricted use or the closing of such county street or highway by:

(a)

Erecting suitable barriers or obstruction upon such street or highway.

(b)

Posting warnings and notices on or adjacent to such street or highway of the condition of any such street or highway.

(c)

Posting signs for the direction of traffic upon it, to or upon any other street or highway, or detour open to public travel.

(d)

Placing warning devices on such street or highway.

(e)

Assigning a flagman to warn, detour or direct traffic on such street or highway.
