§ 14-42. Board to establish loading zones.

(a)

Whenever the board of supervisors determines upon the basis of a traffic engineering investigation that loading zones, passenger loading zones or bus loading zones are necessary on any highway or portion thereof, the board shall by resolution direct the director of public works to place signs or curb markings as provided in section 14-46 on such highway or portion thereof.

(b)

Whenever the board upon the basis of a traffic engineering investigation finds that the conditions, because of which loading zones, passenger loading zones and bus loading zones were established along such highway or portion thereof as provided in section 14-42(a), no longer exist, the board shall by resolution direct the director of public works to remove such signs or such curb markings designating such zones.
