§ 26-73. Existing buildings.

1.

A building permit shall be obtained pursuant to the provisions of this article for a Limited Density Owner-Built Rural Dwelling that was constructed or was partially constructed, without a building permit.

2.

The applicant must be the owner of the dwelling or structure at the time of application and issuance of the permit.

3.

The dwelling or structure shall meet all standards required by this article.

4.

An inspection of the dwelling shall be made by the Butte County Building Division to determine that the requirements of this article have been substantially met to the extent that no abnormal risk to health or safety will result from occupancy of the structure.
