§ 2-120. Payment authorized.

Grand jurors shall receive mileage reimbursement at the rate applicable to County employees set forth in the Butte County Travel Policy in effect for County employees who are not department heads or non-represented employees, for private auto travel each way, while on the business of the grand jury or to attend meetings. Grand jurors shall also receive daily fee in the same amount as the per diem rate set forth in the Butte County Travel Policy in effect for County employees who are not department heads or non-represented employees for each day in which they attend grand jury meetings. In no event shall the mileage reimbursement or per diem payments for grand jurors be less than the minimum set forth in Penal Code Section 890.
