§ 2-171. County fire chief.

The unit chief of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Butte Unit, is appointed as the county fire warden and as the county fire chief. For the purposes of this Code, the term "fire chief" shall include and shall mean both "county fire warden" and "county fire chief" and shall include his or her duly authorized representatives.
