§ 34A-7. Environmental requirements.
(a)
All persons engaging in the cultivation of medical marijuana shall:
(1)
Have a permitted permanent water well or connection to a municipal water source on the premises,
(2)
Not engage in unlawful or unpermitted surface drawing of water for such cultivation and
(3)
Not permit illegal discharges of water from the premises.
(b)
The premises where the cultivation of medical marijuana takes place shall either be hooked up to a municipalities' sewer system or have a Butte County inspected and permitted sewage disposal system.
(c)
Persons engaging in the cultivation and/or harvest of medical marijuana shall use, dispose and store chemicals used in such cultivation and/or harvest pursuant to applicable laws.
