§ 34C-7. Environmental requirements.

  • (a)

    Any parcel where the cultivation of marijuana takes place shall: (1) have a permitted permanent water well or connection to a municipal water source on the premises; (2) not engage in unlawful or unpermitted surface drawing of water for such cultivation; and (3) not permit illegal discharges of water from the premises.

    (b)

    The premises where the cultivation of marijuana takes place shall either be hooked up to a municipality's sewer system, or have a Butte County inspected and permitted sewage disposal system.

    (c)

    Persons engaging in the cultivation of marijuana shall use, dispose and store chemicals in accordance with all applicable laws.
