§ 36-20. Facilities authorized.

Pursuant to section 1907 of the Education Code, there is hereby established school facilities in the county jail for the education and vocational training of the prisoners. The sheriff is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the governing board of any school district maintaining secondary schools for the purpose of maintaining said schools in the county jail.
