Article VI. Work Alternative Program Fees

§ 36-50. Generally.

Fees for the administration of Butte County's work alternative program shall be adopted by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as part of the Butte County Master Fee Schedule. Fees are adopted pursuant to Penal Code Section 4024.2(e).

These fees shall be based upon the offender's ability to pay. Inability to pay shall not preclude participation in the work alternative program.

These fees are subject to periodic adjustment based on the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index (ECI) for State and Local Government.
