§ 44A-1. Established.

There is hereby created and established, pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code section 880 et seq., a juvenile camp for the County of Butte. Said camp shall be known as the Butte County Probation Camp, Camp Condor, and may be so designated in court orders and other official documents. Said camp shall be situated at the site presently known as the Butte County Juvenile Hall unless changed by resolution of the Butte County Board of Supervisors. The internal affairs of said camp shall be under the management and control of the Butte County Chief Probation Officer. Said camp shall be under the charge and supervision of a Deputy Chief Probation Officer or other designee as appointed by the Chief Probation Officer.
