§ 49-11. Recovery of administrative enforcement costs and administrative penalties.

  • a.

    In the event the person who is the subject of a final administrative enforcement order fails to pay the costs of administrative enforcement upon demand by the County, the County may:

    1.

    Proceed under the authority of Section 25845 and/or 54988 of the Government Code to have the costs specially assessed against any parcel of property owned by the responsible party; or

    2.

    Commence a civil action to recover such costs from any responsible party.

    b.

    Any civil action for the recovery of the costs of abatement and civil penalties may be joined with an action for any other relief, including mandatory or prohibitory injunctive relief or for damages to which the county may be entitled.
