§ 4-7.4. Right to judicial review.

(a)

Either party may seek judicial review of the Hearing Officer's decision by filing a petition for a writ of mandate with a request to stay the Hearing Officer's decision in the Civil Division of the Butte County Superior Court in accordance with the procedure set forth in California Code of Civil Procedure section 1094.5 et seq. Documents shall be served upon the "Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville, California 95965."

(b)

No judicial appeal is permitted where a party has failed to appear at a properly scheduled administrative hearing.
