§ 52-4. Electronic filing of campaign disclosure.

Any elected officer, candidate, committee, or other person required to file specified statements, reports, or other documents with the Butte County elections official as required by Chapter 4 of the Political Reform Act shall electronically file all such statements, reports or documents according to procedures established by the Butte County elections official. However, in any case in which any person is required to file (a) an original statement, report or other document with the Secretary of State and (b) a copy of such statement, report, or other document with the Butte County elections official, the person may electronically file a copy with the Butte County elections official according to procedures established by the Butte County elections official. Electronic filing is not required under these circumstances. The data shall be made available free of charge and available on the Internet.
