§ 2-20. Position created; extent of powers.

There is hereby created in and for the County of Butte, the position of chief administrative officer. The chief administrative officer is a county officer and not subject to the county civil service system. No provision of this article is intended to, nor shall it vest in the chief administrative officer any right, duty or responsibility now conferred by law on any other officer, department head or employee of the county.
