§ 31-38. Equipment yard.

(a)

Storage and equipment yards used by licensed solid waste collectors shall be kept clean and free of debris and stored waste. Recyclables shall be stored in approved storage bins. Out-of-service vehicles shall be stored away from normal work areas and out of public sight.

(b)

Storage and equipment yards shall be used only for items and materials which apply directly to solid waste collection and recycling and shall not be used for the keeping of livestock or other unrelated businesses.

(c)

Storage and equipment yards shall be kept in a safe and healthful manner, free of litter and debris and shall not become a public nuisance.
