§ 2-162. Manner of sales conducted by such designated officer.

Unless otherwise ordered by the Superior Court under the provisions of Section 11489 of the Health and Safety Code, all sales or conveyances of real property by such designated officer shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Section 25538.5 of the Government Code after publication pursuant to Section 6063 of the Government Code of a notice of intention to sell such seized and forfeited real property, which notice shall include the following:

(1)

A description of the property to be sold in a manner sufficient to describe the property;

(2)

The minimum price and the terms upon which the property will be sold;

(3)

An announcement of the date the property will be sold, with such date being not less than seven (7) days after the completion of the publication;

(4)

An announcement of the place at which sealed proposals to purchase the property will be received; and

(5)

An announcement of the time and place where the proposals will be opened and declared, and oral bids will be received.
